Dennis

Dennis Pirot

Dennis Pirot co-founded K West Equities Corp with Kevin Bird. Dennis was also one of the three partners that founded Centre Group Commercial Realty, which is now owned by Colliers International. Dennis was born and raised in Saskatchewan and started his business career in a general Store in Cochin, Saskatchewan owned by his uncle. He soon purchased the store and while living in North Battleford, Saskatchewan he also partnered to purchase a Dodge & Chrysler Jeep Dealership, a Home Hardware Building center, a home construction company, a commercial bingo gaming operation and was involved in several other ventures. Having retired in 2017, Dennis continues to provide guidance to the K West management team.

Kevin

Kevin Bird

Mr. Bird is the founder & President of K West Homes. Born in Kelowna, B.C., Kevin Bird has been involved in business since he was in his early 20s. His first venture was in the cedar roofing business in the early 1980’s. After ten years of the roofing business, Kevin Bird started K West Equities Corp. Since the early 90’s, K West has developed over 500 Million dollars’ worth of residential construction projects in the Okanagan area. Mr. Bird has shown consistency in predicting future housing trends, making K West an industry leader in the Okanagan housing market.

Ryan Tamblyn

Mr. Tamblyn is the Vice President of Corporate Development for K West Homes. Ryan brings a track record of success in launching startups and leading companies to capture a greater market share through his innovative approach to Business Development. Previously, Ryan spearheaded the expansion of an Oil & Gas company from a small Alberta-based business worth $10 Million to a major player across North America, growing the company’s valuation to over $200 Million within three years. Ryan is also the CEO of Millennial Developments Corp. a boutique Real Estate Developer focused on small scale, built to sell multi-family developments.

Don Simmons

Mr. Simmons is the VP Purchasing for K West Homes. Don brings over 40 years experience in construction material procurement. Don founded Dannburg Flooring in 1987 and grew the company to $12,000,000 in annual sales during his tenure. In 2010 he started a successful import distribution company which specializes in procuring construction material from overseas. Having lived in Kelowna since 1974, Don is an active member of the community and has served on multiple public and private boards.

Rob

Rob Hager

Rob has been a leader in the new home residential real estate sector for over 24 years.

Rob began his career with a new home real estate research firm in Toronto, Ontario, expanding to marketing and sales representing a variety of developers and builders. He headed the sales and marketing division of a premier new home builder in Toronto, responsible for the sales of several high-profile condominium, golf course, and low-rise projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Rob relocated to the Okanagan in 2004 as vice-president for a highly successful and accredited sales and marketing company servicing many high-profile projects throughout Western Canada and the US. In 2006, Rob formed Tactx Project Sales & Marketing Inc. and as Principal has introduced a number of leading Okanagan projects including Lakeshore Place & Lakeshore Three in Penticton, The Madison in Kelowna, and Terravita in West Kelowna.

Rob’s understanding of market research, and his years directing marketing and sales for the developer/builder community, has uniquely-positioned his real estate brokerage firm to navigate the complex and multi-faceted world of new home development, ensuring the successfully positioning of a variety of real estate projects.
