Tim Brown


Tim Brown is originally from Toronto and Montreal and has lived and worked in the Okanagan for the past 30 years. He attained a Bachelor of Arts degree from UVIC and Juris Doctor degree from the University of Manitoba before being called to the bar in 2001. Tim is a partner at Porter Ramsay LLP in Kelowna, BC and has been with that firm for 16 years. He specializes in all aspects of real estate law with an emphasis on real estate development. He has been involved with many large and small scale real estate developments and thousands of real estate transactions over the years. Tim is married and has six children and enjoys traveling, hockey, golf, jazz music and good wine and food.



Chris White


Chris is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) and is a partner with Crowe MacKay LLP Chartered Accountants in their Kelowna office and is President of Crowe MacKay Consulting Ltd. Chris joined the firm in 1982 and received his CGA designation in 1987, his CA designation in 1992, his CFP designation in 1998 and has completed the CICA in depth tax program.

Chris has assisted his clients in achieving their goals in many industries over the past 34 years and has extensive experience in the construction industry and in manufacturing.

Tom Johnston


Tom was born and raised in Vegreville, Alberta and obtained his Engineering Degree at the University of Alberta and his MBA from the University of Western Ontario. Tom Johnston’s 30 years of executive level management experience in the oil and gas industry, make him a key investor and invaluable player on the K West advisory team. He is an inspiration to the group and demonstrates a genuine confidence in his forward momentum to success. Tom’s resume includes engineering and leadership roles in several major energy companies in areas of strategic planning, mergers & acquisitions, operations, financial management and business development.
